For the 4th year in a row the Roots Tourism International Exchange will take place in Matera, the heart of Basilicata Region. Roots-IN is organized by Basilicata Region and APT – Agenzia di Promozione Territoriale Basilicata in cooperation with ENIT - Italian National Tourism Board under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Roots-IN is more than a trade event: it is the point of contact between supply and demand of Roots Tourism, an increasingly popular trend for millions of people in the world who want to discover their Italian ancestors' roots.

It is conceived to create a community for Italian tourism trade operators - travel agents, public bodies, tour operators, local association - in our workshop, B2B meetings and online networking platform.
